Sending Cars to Zimbabwe
The container is cleared, and duty is paid well in advance of its arrival in Zimbabwe. Zimtransit prepares a commercial invoice that includes all the detailed lists provided by clients and receives the Bill of Lading and Freight invoice from the shipping company. These documents are forwarded to ZIMRA, which uses them to calculate the cu
The container is cleared, and duty is paid well in advance of its arrival in Zimbabwe. Zimtransit prepares a commercial invoice that includes all the detailed lists provided by clients and receives the Bill of Lading and Freight invoice from the shipping company. These documents are forwarded to ZIMRA, which uses them to calculate the customs duty. Once the duty is calculated, Zimtransit prepares the customs invoices and sends them to the clients. Upon the container's arrival in Zimbabwe, ZIMRA conducts a physical inspection to verify that all items in the container have been fully declared before releasing it.

We do ship cars from Austaralia to Zimbabwe. Australia shipping does not have RIRO facility, therefore all cars being shipped overseas are placed inside containers. Shipping a car from Australia will therefore be much more exp[ensive compared to other countries.

If the cars was not bought from auction, or if it was your private vehicle ZIMRA will determine its value based on Zimbabwe market prices. This value will be used to calculate duty.
